
Lauren (she/her) is an actress, singer, and writer living in New York.
She was the breakout star of Jagged Little Pill, the acclaimed Broadway show with music by Alanis Morissette and book by Diablo Cody. Her rendition of “You Oughta Know” earned her a mid-show standing ovation, and she won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, as well as the Grammy, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance.
Lauren most recently starred off-Broadway in the original rock musical The Lonely Few at MCC (Lortel nomination). She made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning musical Fun Home, and originated the role of #25 in Sarah DeLappe's critically acclaimed play The Wolves (Obie and Drama Desk Awards for Best Ensemble). Other theatre credits include Steven Levenson's Days of Rage at Second Stage, and the original LA production of Deaf West's Spring Awakening. She will appear this summer in The Counterfeit Opera at the Amph at Little Island.
On television, Lauren starred as Anna Collier in the Hulu original series Death and Other Details. She is known for playing Rachel Witten on Blue Bloods, and is also featured on The Good Fight and Succession.
As a musician, Lauren has performed at a variety of iconic New York venues, including Sony Hall, Tavern on the Green, Mercury Lounge, and Rockwood Music Hall. She has also held concerts at A.C.T. of CT and the Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University. She will debut a new concert on June 18th at Ridgefield Playhouse in CT. Her EP covers, featuring innovative arrangements of rock, soul, and pop classics, is available on all streaming platforms. She was featured on Rolling Stone's website for her cover of Ariana Grande's "God is a Woman."
Lauren received a BA in Creative Writing from The New School, and trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
